Our monthly report “Contents Protocol Times” includes the most recent announcements, community updates, and media coverage and will be shared every first week of the month.


(1) Contents Protocol launched CPT STORE

Contents Protocol launched CPT Store on May 8th and has started the second CPT reward to WATCHA and WATCHA PLAY users. Users can join the survey and receive tokens based on their contribution to WATCHA and WATCHA PLAY. We are pleased to lay a foundation for the mass adoption of cryptocurrency and there will be more products available in the upcoming weeks, so please stay tuned!

*CPT STORE and second CPT reward is currently only available to Korean residents.

(2) Contents Protocol joined UPBIT’s “Blockchain Project Information Disclosure System”

A Korean crypto exchange UPBIT, one of the official listing exchanges of CPT(Contents Protocol Token), introduced “Blockchain Project Information Disclosure System” to provide key information to the public. Contents Protocol also joined this information disclosure system to provide important project information in a fair and reliable manner, and recently announced information on the launch of CPT STORE. Contents Protocol team will continue to bring greater transparency to the community.


(1) Hey Blockchain Forum in Songdo

On May 10th, Contents Protocol team was invited to Hey Blockchain Forum in Songdo, which was co-hosted by Yeonsu-gu and Inha University. James Lee, head of business at Contents Protocol, participated as a keynote speaker on the topic “How blockchain technology will shape the future of content industry.” We were pleased to share our journey in content and blockchain industry with attendees at the event.

(2) Cannes Film Market

On the third week of May, Contents Protocol team attended 2019 Cannes Film Market. Michelle Jo, Global Business Development at Contents Protocol, hosted a session titled “Leading your movie to success with big data and audience incentivization.” With film industry professionals in attendance, she introduced how data analytics provided by Contents Protocol could provide value in content production and distribution. As a project committed to vitalizing content industry with data, we were pleased to attend one of the major film industry events of the world and present our business.
